SoftBank Adds 21 Lenders to $40 Billion OpenAI Bridge Loan
SoftBank has attracted a new group of 21 lenders to the $40 billion bridge loan it signed in March for its investment in OpenAI. The new participants were allocated approximately $7 billion of the credit facility.
The syndication phase expands the group of financial institutions already backing the 12-month loan. The deal ranks as one of the largest bridge financings in the Asia-Pacific region.
