Jordan Intercepts Five Iranian Missiles as Iran Claims Strikes on U.S. Bases in Kuwait, Bahrain
Jordan's military said it intercepted five Iranian missiles on Thursday and reported no casualties, after the IRGC said it had targeted Al Azraq air base. CENTCOM later said no U.S. aircraft were destroyed or damaged in recent attempted Iranian attacks, and that all Iranian missiles and drones were intercepted or failed to reach their intended targets.
Separately, Iran said it targeted a U.S. air base in Kuwait, and Iran's army said drones targeted U.S. facilities at Bahrain's Sheikh Isa Air Base, including power generators, navigation systems, and administrative and support buildings. CENTCOM also rejected IRGC claims that three U.S. F-35s and three other aircraft were destroyed in a recent attack.
