Qualcomm Completes Modular Acquisition, Names Chris Lattner To Lead AI Software Unit
Qualcomm has completed its acquisition of AI software firm Modular, combining the chipmaker's silicon manufacturing with the startup's cross-platform programming stack.
The deal appoints Modular co-founder Chris Lattner as executive vice president of advanced AI software and platforms, while co-founder Tim Davis will serve as senior vice president and general manager of Modular.
