SanDisk Falls 11% as Morgan Stanley Forecasts Memory Chip Price Peak in Late 2026
SanDisk stock fell 11% after Morgan Stanley warned that the global memory boom is approaching a peak, with contract NAND prices expected to top out in late 2026.
The bank noted that a pricing peak does not necessarily mean an earnings decline, pointing to $42B in RPO from multiyear contracts with price floors near $0.29/GB. Higher AI storage demand and contracted volumes are expected to support earnings growth even if NAND prices flatten.
