Rivian Lifts 2026 Delivery Forecast and Cuts CapEx After Q2 Revenue Beats $1.66 Billion

Rivian posted second-quarter revenue of $1.66 billion, beating analyst estimates, as it lifted its full-year delivery forecast to 65,000-70,000 units and cut capital expenditure guidance to $1.7 billion-$1.8 billion for 2026.

The electric-vehicle maker reported a net loss of $837 million on deliveries of 12,194 vehicles. Management opened external shipments of its new R2 midsize SUV this quarter, following a $1.3 billion equity offering.
