U.S. Missile Hits Coast Near Suza on Iran's Qeshm Island, Tasnim Reports
A U.S. missile struck a coastal area near the city of Suza on Iran's Qeshm Island at around 6:50 p.m. Thursday, according to semi-official Tasnim. The missile landed along the shoreline, authorities were assessing the site and investigating possible damage, and no information on casualties had been released.
Separate reports earlier described a loud blast near the Suza maritime police station and an explosion on Qeshm Island. Qeshm lies in the Strait of Hormuz, near major shipping routes and several Iranian military installations.
