The FDA confirmed that evidence continues to point to shredded iceberg lettuce from Taylor Farms in central Mexico as the source of the cyclosporiasis outbreak. Michigan health data show the state’s case total has surpassed 6,000.
More than 1,100 new infections were recorded since Friday, highlighting the rapid expansion of the outbreak within the state.
