AMD Raises 2030 Server CPU Market Estimate to $200 Billion
AMD raised its total addressable market estimate for server processors to more than $200 billion by 2030, up from $120 billion in May and $60 billion earlier in the year, CEO Lisa Su said.
The revision follows workload shifts driven by agentic AI, which is pushing CPU-to-GPU deployment ratios from roughly 1:8 toward 1:1. The company currently holds a 46% share of server CPU revenue, positioning the data-center chip business for significant scale as AI inference demand accelerates.
