TSMC said it does not expect any impact on current operations following market reports that Japan’s Central Glass halted production of high-purity tungsten hexafluoride, or WF₆, due to a shortage of raw materials from mainland China.
The chipmaker stated it will maintain production through a global procurement strategy that develops multi-source supply solutions and diversifies its supplier base to provide resilience against potential supply risks.
