Trump Vows One Bridge or Power Plant Strike for Every Ship Targeted in Hormuz; Iran Warns on Gulf Oil Flow
President Donald Trump said the US would bomb one Iranian bridge or power plant every time Iran targets a ship in the Strait of Hormuz. Iranian military officials later said that if Washington acted on that threat, Tehran would halt all Gulf oil flow and target energy, electricity and other infrastructure in the region.
Iran's top joint military command, cited by state media, said it would target oil, gas, electricity and economic infrastructure in the region if the US carried out strikes on Iran's bridges or power plants. Tasnim separately quoted Commander Mousavi as saying Iran would cut off electricity to US regional allies in that event, while the joint command said Trump's repeated threats would expand the war in the region and beyond.
