CXMT Prices $85 Billion Shanghai IPO, Raising $8.6 Billion for July 27 Listing
CXMT priced its Shanghai STAR Market IPO at 8.66 yuan per share, raising $8.6 billion and assigning an implied valuation of $85 billion. The shares will begin trading on July 27.
The offering represents the largest semiconductor listing in mainland Chinese history and Asia’s biggest tech debut of 2026. Institutional demand was oversubscribed roughly 570 times. The company ranks fourth globally in DRAM market share with about 7.7% and reported its first full-year profit last year, though foreign investors remain barred from purchasing the stock.
