Bitmine Buys 27,801 Ethereum for $49 Million, Raising Holdings to 4.8% of Supply
BitMine bought 27,801 Ethereum in the past week, raising its total treasury to 5.77 million tokens, or 4.8% of the network’s circulating supply.
The transaction, valued at approximately $49 million, increases the firm’s combined portfolio of crypto, cash and marketable securities to $11.3 billion as of July 12. BitMine has staked 4.92 million of its Ethereum holdings.
