Johnson & Johnson Raises Full-Year Guidance on Second-Quarter Profit of $2.90 Per Share and $25.3 Billion in Sales
Johnson & Johnson reported second-quarter adjusted earnings of $2.90 a share on sales of $25.31 billion, beating analyst estimates and surpassing the $25 billion quarterly sales mark.
The company raised its full-year revenue forecast to $100.8 billion to $101.4 billion and lifted earnings guidance to $11.60 to $11.75 a share. Growth in the medicine division, led by oncology and immunology products, offset a slight miss in Medtech sales. The updated guidance supports a path to $100 billion in annual revenue for the first time in the company's 140-year history.
