Abbott Beats Second-Quarter Profit and Sales Estimates and Raises Full-Year Outlook on $12.6 Billion Revenue
Abbott posted second-quarter sales of $12.59 billion and adjusted earnings of $1.31 a share, beating analyst estimates and leading the medical products maker to raise its full-year profit outlook.
The beat was supported by a 13% year-over-year revenue increase, with diagnostics sales surging 42% to $3.09 billion.
