United Airlines Raises 2026 Earnings Forecast On Revenue Growth, Warns Of $6 Billion Fuel Hit
United Airlines raised its full-year adjusted earnings-per-share forecast to $9 to $11 after second-quarter revenue rose 16% to $17.7B, topping analyst estimates.
The carrier reported an adjusted EPS of $1.99 for the quarter and warned that higher jet fuel prices will add about $6B to its 2026 costs. The airline will offset the fuel impact through fare increases, targeting full pricing recovery by the fourth quarter. Shares fell 5% in after-hours trading.
