UAE Oil Output Hits Record 4.1 Million Barrels A Day, Driving US Crude Below $72
The International Energy Agency reported that the UAE pumped crude at a record 4.1 million bpd in June, nearly doubling output from the start of the Hormuz crisis.
Abu Dhabi state oil producer ADNOC issued its sixth spot crude tender since June began and is accelerating a Fujairah pipeline to bypass the choke point. The supply surge pushed US crude below $72 a barrel, while the futures market stayed in backwardation.
