businesscompany-earningsstocks 6 posts · 5 accounts

Delta Air Lines reported second-quarter adjusted earnings of $1.56 a share, topping analyst estimates of $1.48, while revenue climbed 14% to $17.7B. The airline also set a third-quarter profit forecast of $2.00 to $2.50 per share, ahead of the $2.07 estimate.

Strong demand for premium and corporate travel, supported by higher-than-expected World Cup travel, helped offset the carrier’s highest quarterly fuel costs. Shares rose roughly 3% in premarket trading.
