Nvidia Launches Revenue Sharing Program for AI Cloud Startups
Nvidia said it is entering revenue-sharing agreements with fast-growing AI cloud startups, swapping access to its graphics processing units for a slice of future compute revenue. The chipmaker announced the initiative Thursday, which provides participating startups with token credits to cover GPU purchases in exchange for a share of the cloud income generated by those chips.
Nvidia named two data center operators as the first partners in the program. The company, which dominates the artificial intelligence hardware market, is expanding its role in infrastructure financing to accelerate the build-out of AI factories across the industry.
