CRH Agrees to Buy Arcosa for $8.5 Billion in Record Deal
CRH agreed to pay $8.5 billion in cash for Arcosa, in a transaction that would be the Irish building materials provider's largest on record. The deal values the US construction services company at $150 a share.
Terms cited for the acquisition equate to 11.5 times Arcosa's estimated 2026 adjusted EBITDA, including $175 million of expected annual run-rate cost synergies by the third year. The agreement follows weekend reports that CRH was close to a deal with Arcosa.
