RunPod Raises $100 Million at $1 Billion Valuation Led by Summit Partners

RunPod, a cloud platform that rents access to non-Nvidia GPUs, raised $100 million at a $1 billion valuation in a funding round led by Summit Partners. The new valuation marks a tenfold increase from the $100 million the company received following its seed round in 2024, according to The Information.

The financing aligns with RunPod's reported surge in infrastructure demand. Co-founder Luke Piette announced the raise on X, stating the company hit $240 million in annual recurring revenue last month, doubling since February. He noted that developer usage surpassed 1 million users, while the company has grown to over 100 employees across three U.S. offices and expanded its infrastructure to more than 30 data centers.
