AppsFlyer, an independent mobile-ad measurement company, has raised more than $1 billion from Google, Meta, Unity and ad-tech firm Moloco in a financing round that values the company at $2.7 billion.

Eric Seufert, an independent mobile-advertising analyst, wrote that AppsFlyer is central to measurement workflows across a substantial portion of the app ecosystem and that the financing may place the company beyond the reach of likely acquirers, helping preserve its neutrality.
