AI Inference Startup Baseten Raises $1.5 Billion at $13 Billion Valuation
Baseten, an AI inference startup that helps companies run models in production, announced a $1.5 billion Series F financing. A separate post shared alongside the announcement put the valuation at $13 billion and described Baseten’s inference business as having grown 20x in the last year.
Baseten listed Abridge, Clay, Cursor, Decagon, HubSpot, Lovable, Notion and OpenEvidence as customers. It framed the financing around demand for infrastructure that runs open and specialized models, citing stronger open models such as GLM 5.2 and more use of post-training, or tuning models with a company’s own data, evaluations and feedback.
