Vimeo Owner Bending Spoons Targets Up to $1.62 Billion in U.S. IPO

Italian software company Bending Spoons plans to sell 58 million shares at $26 to $28 each in a U.S. initial public offering that could raise as much as $1.62 billion and value the Vimeo owner at up to $19 billion. Its portfolio also includes WeTransfer, AOL and Eventbrite, and the shares will trade on Nasdaq under the ticker BSP.

Reuters reported the company is targeting an early-July debut. Roughly 60% of the shares will be sold by Bending Spoons and the rest by existing holders including Baillie Gifford. First-quarter revenue rose to $601 million from $259 million a year earlier, while the company swung to $27.5 million in net income from a $112.2 million loss.
