Nvidia Adds $262 Billion as RTX Spark Superchip Lifts Shares 4.88%
Nvidia shares rose 4.88%, adding about $262 billion in market value, after Chief Executive Officer Jensen Huang unveiled the RTX Spark superchip at Computex 2026. The product, developed with Microsoft, is designed to run heavy AI tools directly on laptops without relying on the cloud.
The launch points to Nvidia expanding its AI push beyond data centers and into everyday personal computers. By shifting some AI workloads onto devices, the company is targeting a broader market than the cloud and server infrastructure that has driven much of its recent growth.
