TSMC Arizona Q1 Profit Hits NT$18.81 Billion, Exceeds Full-Year 2025
Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co.'s Arizona subsidiary posted net profit of NT$18.81 billion in the first quarter, exceeding the NT$16.14 billion it earned in all of 2025, according to reports citing the company's financial report. TSMC's Kumamoto operation in Japan recorded its first quarterly net profit, at NT$951 million.
TSMC's Germany venture, ESMC, remained loss-making with a NT$278 million loss. The company received NT$505 million in government subsidies from the US, Japan and Germany in the quarter, down from NT$35.15 billion last year.
