Ark Invest Buys $5.5 Million of Circle as Earnings Rally Extends
Cathie Wood's Ark Invest bought about $5.5 million of Circle shares across three ETFs, extending momentum in the stock after the company's first-quarter results sparked a 16% rally. The shares were up another 8.7% in the latest session.
Circle reported first-quarter total revenue and reserve income of $694 million, up 20% from a year earlier, while earnings per share of $0.21 topped estimates even as revenue missed consensus. USDC in circulation rose 28% to $77 billion and onchain transaction volume climbed 263% to $21.5 trillion, helping drive investor interest in the stablecoin issuer.
