Nvidia CEO Huang Joins Trump’s China Delegation as Last-Minute Addition
Nvidia Chief Executive Officer Jensen Huang joined President Donald Trump's trip to China as a last-minute addition, boarding Air Force One during a refueling stop in Alaska, according to the White House and Nvidia. A White House spokesman said Huang's schedule changed, reversing earlier reports that he would not be part of the delegation for Trump's summit with Chinese President Xi Jinping in Beijing.
Huang's inclusion adds the head of chipmaker Nvidia to a business group that already includes Tesla's Elon Musk, Apple's Tim Cook and other executives traveling with Trump. The visit, Trump's first to China since 2017, is expected to cover trade, artificial intelligence, Taiwan and Iran.
