TSMC Raises 2030 Chip Market Forecast Above $1.5 Trillion on AI Demand
Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. said it expects the global semiconductor market to exceed $1.5 trillion by 2030, up from a prior $1 trillion forecast, as AI demand drives growth.
At its Taiwan technology symposium, TSMC outlined a broad capacity expansion, saying it is constructing or modifying 18 fabs worldwide, including five advanced packaging plants, to support rising demand.
