Infineon Raises 2026 Outlook as AI Infrastructure Spending Lifts Chip Demand
Infineon Technologies projected third-quarter revenue of about €4.1 billion, above the €4.04 billion analysts expected, and said revenue for the year to the end of September should grow significantly as artificial intelligence spending fuels semiconductor demand. The forecast for the current quarter exceeded expectations as the German chipmaker benefits from a boom in AI infrastructure.
The company said AI data center demand is lifting its power chip business and now expects 2026 sales to rise significantly from a year earlier. Infineon also raised its free cash flow outlook to about €1.25 billion.
