BlackRock Tops $1 Billion in Bitcoin Purchases Across Five Trading Days
BlackRock bought more than $1 billion worth of Bitcoin over the last five trading days, highlighting the firm's role in a recent run of demand for U.S. spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds. The figure adds detail to a five-session streak that brought nearly $1.7 billion into spot Bitcoin ETFs overall.
Earlier daily figures showed U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs drew $532.21 million on May 4, $467 million on May 5 and $46.33 million on May 6, with BlackRock alone accounting for $335 million and $251 million on the first two of those sessions. U.S. spot Ethereum ETFs also logged four straight days of inflows over the same period, though the amounts were much smaller.
