Crypto Investment Products Extend Five-Week Inflow Streak as Bitcoin Funds Hit $4.2 Billion
Global crypto investment products extended a five-week inflow streak, with year-to-date flows into bitcoin funds reaching $4.2 billion, according to CoinShares, which said the run masked a sharp intraweek reversal. The latest figures also showed continued U.S. spot Bitcoin ETF demand, with those funds recording $532 million of net inflows on Monday as Bitcoin climbed back above $80,000, according to SoSoValue.
Separate May 5 flow data showed Bitcoin ETFs adding 6,668 BTC, or about $541.96 million, over one day and 10,817 BTC, or $879.26 million, over seven days. Ethereum ETFs posted one-day inflows of 26,480 ETH, or $63.23 million, but remained negative over seven days with outflows of 3,788 ETH, or $9.05 million, while Solana ETFs added 41,170 SOL, or $3.52 million, on the day.
