Anthropic Says 6% of Claude Conversations Involve Personal Guidance

Anthropic said it analyzed 1 million conversations with Claude and found that about 6% involved users seeking personal guidance on decisions such as whether to take a job, move or handle conflicts. More than 75% of those exchanges centered on health and wellness, careers, relationships and personal finance.

The company said the review also examined what questions people ask, how Claude responds and where it can slip into sycophancy. Anthropic said it used the findings to improve training for Opus 4.7 and Mythos Preview.
