TSMC April Revenue Rises 17.5% to Second-Best Month on Record

Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co.'s April revenue rose 17.5% from a year earlier to NT$410.7 billion, marking its second-best month on record as AI chip orders continued to increase. The April total was 1.1% lower than in March, when the company posted an all-time monthly high of NT$415.2 billion.

Revenue for the first four months of the year climbed 29.9% from a year earlier to NT$1.54 trillion, extending the chipmaker's strong start to 2026 despite concerns about weaker smartphone chip orders.
