Spot Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs Reverse to Outflows After Inflow Streaks
Spot Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs swung to net outflows on May 7, reversing the inflow streaks that had built earlier in the week. Bitcoin ETFs saw $277.5 million of net outflows, the first net outflow after five consecutive days of inflows, while Ethereum ETFs posted $103.52 million of net outflows and none of the 10 funds recorded net inflows. Spot Solana ETFs still drew $6.67 million.
The reversal followed May 6, when spot Bitcoin ETFs added $46.33 million to extend a five-day inflow streak that totaled nearly $1.7 billion, while spot Ethereum ETFs brought in $11.57 million for a fourth straight day of inflows.
