BitMine Becomes Largest Corporate Ethereum Staker With 4.36 Million ETH Staked
BitMine said it became the largest corporate Ethereum staker this week after staking 4.36 million ETH valued at about $10.2 billion. The company said it holds 5.18 million ETH in total, equal to roughly 4.29% of Ethereum's supply, and that its staking operations are generating about $297 million in annualized revenue.
The disclosure marks a new milestone in BitMine's Ether accumulation drive. Earlier this week, Tom Lee said the company could hold 5% of Ethereum's total supply within five weeks, while also indicating it may slow the pace of purchases as it approaches that target.
