JPMorgan Sees Strategy's Bitcoin Buying Reaching $30 Billion This Year
JPMorgan analysts said Strategy's Bitcoin purchases could reach about $30 billion this year if the company maintains its current pace, after buying 145,834 BTC worth about $11 billion so far in 2026. They said purchases accelerated in April, leaving Strategy with 818,334 BTC valued at more than $65 billion at current market prices.
Strategy said in first-quarter 2026 results earlier this week that it held 818,334 BTC, had achieved a 9.4% BTC yield year to date and raised $11.6 billion so far in 2026. Michael Saylor had separately said the company generated 63,410 BTC of year-to-date gain, worth about $5.1 billion.
