Florida Probes ChatGPT's Alleged Role in USF Student Slayings

ai 4 posts · 3 accounts

Florida's top law-enforcement official said his office will investigate ChatGPT's alleged role in the slayings of two University of South Florida doctoral students from Bangladesh, Zamil Limon, 27, and Nahida Bristy, 27. Their roommate, Hisham Abugharbieh, 26, has been charged with two counts of first-degree premeditated murder, and court documents cited in reports said he asked ChatGPT how to bag and dispose of a body.

Limon's body was found dismembered in trash bags on the Howard Frankland Bridge, and a body was later recovered in the water near the bridge where remains had been found. The families of the two students have called for the "highest possible punishment" for the accused roommate.
