TotalEnergies Raises Buybacks to $1.5 Billion and Lifts Dividend
TotalEnergies raised shareholder returns after first-quarter profit rebounded on soaring oil and gas prices. The company increased quarterly share buybacks to $1.5 billion, the top of its guidance, and set a first interim dividend of €0.90 a share for fiscal 2026, up 5.9% from 2025.
TotalEnergies also said conflict-driven effects on global hydrocarbon inventories have eliminated the 2026 surplus scenario it had expected earlier this year.
