Kenya Power Outage Cuts Internet Connectivity to 69% of Normal
Kenya internet connectivity dropped to 69% of normal levels following a widespread power outage, internet monitoring firm NetBlocks said. The network disruption tracks with broader grid failures reported across the country.
Kenya Power confirmed the outages affected Nairobi and the Coast, Mt. Kenya, and Central Rift regions, while parts of the North Rift and Western areas retained power. Technical crews are working to restore electricity in the affected zones.
