Nous Research’s Hermes AI agent now integrates with the Buzz messaging platform, offering three connectivity options for users to bridge the services. The available integration methods include local desktop auto-discovery, a relay bridge for hosted channel identities, and a Hermes Gateway that routes Buzz as an external platform with messaging and cron delivery.

The self-hostable workspace allows human users and AI agents to operate within the same channels and codebase. Users can access the new features ahead of the official release cycle by running an update command in their terminal.
