Antares Raises $470 Million to Deploy Nuclear Microreactors at US Military Bases
Antares has raised $470 million in a Series C funding round to develop 1-MW nuclear microreactors for US military bases. The financing, split into $370 million in equity and $100 million in debt, was co-led by Paradigm and Caffeinated Capital.
The transaction follows four decades of flatlined US nuclear capacity as power demand accelerates across multiple sectors. The company has been developing its microreactor platform since its pre-seed stage.
