VoteHub Rates Texas Senate Race Tossup As Gop Committees Allocate $0 To Paxton Race
VoteHub downgraded the Texas U.S. Senate race between Democrat James Talarico and Republican Ken Paxton to a tossup following its latest forecast model.
The rating shift arrives as a New York Times report detailed a GOP funding standoff over the contest. The Senate Leadership Fund plans to deploy $115 million across two other Senate races but has allocated zero dollars to Texas, according to the report.
