Qatar sent its first liquefied natural gas shipment through the Strait of Hormuz since one of its tankers was attacked in the waterway more than three weeks ago.
The Al Areesh, which loaded in Qatar in early July, sailed through Hormuz with its transponder turned on. Qatar had paused journeys through the strait after another LNG carrier was attacked on July 7.
