X Launches Money Service Tapping Cross River Bank, Offering 6% APY to U.S. Premium Subscribers
X launched its Money service, rolling out access to U.S. users with X Premium and X Premium+ subscriptions. The platform provides peer-to-peer payments and FDIC-insured interest-bearing accounts backed by banking infrastructure from Cross River Bank.
Premium subscribers can earn up to 6% APY on deposits, a rate boosted to the full amount for Premium+ users or those who set up a $1,000 direct deposit. The offering also includes a linked Visa debit card providing 3% cashback on eligible purchases and direct deposit.
