Florida Attorney General Launches Fauci Investigation After Senate Hearing
Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier said Wednesday that his office is launching an investigation into Anthony Fauci, citing what he called Fauci's lack of candor to Congress and saying it was time to get the truth about what happened during COVID.
The announcement followed Fauci's appearance before a Senate committee, where he repeatedly invoked the Fifth Amendment and declined to answer questions about his role in the U.S. response to Covid-19. Rand Paul later said the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee will vote next week on a resolution to hold Fauci in contempt.
