Russia Launches Major Missile Strike on Ukraine With 14 Strategic Bombers, Triggering Polish Sirens on Missile Border Crossing
Russia has launched a large-scale missile and drone attack against Ukraine utilizing up to 14 Tu-95 and Tu-160 strategic bombers, ballistic missiles, and Kalibr cruise missiles from the Black Sea. The coordinated strike targeted Kyiv and western cities, with monitoring channels reporting launches of dozens of cruise missiles alongside multiple waves of drones.
The attack prompted air raid sirens to sound in Lublin, eastern Poland, as monitoring channels reported that one or two Russian cruise missiles flew approximately 15 to 20 kilometers into Polish airspace before disappearing from radar. There is currently no official confirmation from Warsaw or NATO regarding the border incursion, and city officials in Kyiv warned that additional strikes remain possible.
