Nvidia, Microsoft And 50 Companies Urge Washington To Block Open AI Model Restrictions
Nvidia, Microsoft, Meta, Google and OpenAI have joined a coalition of more than 50 companies urging Washington policymakers not to restrict open-weight artificial intelligence models.
The signatories argued that openness drives competition, keeps costs down and strengthens cybersecurity by enabling broader independent verification of the technology.
