China’s total exports of AI-related hardware and equipment reached a record $720 billion over the past 12 months. The figure is driven by sales of chips, computer components, and power equipment that have all set or approached 12-month highs.

Over the trailing year, chips accounted for the largest share at roughly $290 billion, a figure that has more than doubled in the past three years. Shipments of computers and components totaled about $240 billion, the highest level since 2022, while power equipment exports hit a record $190 billion with growth accelerating in the last two years. The figures reflect a broader acceleration in Western purchases of Chinese-manufactured AI infrastructure.
