Iranian Projectile Appears to Hit Jordan's King Faisal Air Base Despite Interceptor Launches
Footage posted on July 23 appears to show an Iranian projectile hitting King Faisal Air Base in Jordan on July 22, with several air defense interceptors fired unsuccessfully before impact.
Posts sharing the video said the strike hit an aircraft hangar allegedly housing an F-15E and that the footage showed a secondary explosion. One post also said the US Air Force had started evacuating aircraft from the base on July 23 after the strike. The footage and damage claims were not officially confirmed in the posts.
