Maersk Suspends Chornomorsk Port Operations as Russia Bans Shipping Midnight to 5 A.M.
Maersk has suspended operations at Ukraine’s Chornomorsk port due to Russian shelling, adding to a cluster of new restrictions disrupting commercial navigation in the Black Sea. Grain industry sources stated that Russia imposed a verbal ban on vessel movements at the Novorossiysk port from midnight to 5 a.m. in response to Ukrainian drone attacks.
